about the print deli

The Print Deli is an independent Risograph print studio and workshop space in West Perth, offering printing and design services for artists, small businesses and the wider creative community.

Founded by designer, printmaker and educator Billie Seaman, the studio was created to make Risograph printing more accessible in Perth. Through workshops and hands-on making, it aims to become a place to learn, share ideas and connect through print.

The Print Deli was founded by Billie Seaman, the graphic designer and printmaker behind Studio By Billie. A lover of bright colours and textures, Billie began exploring Risograph during a residency at North Metropolitan TAFE, where she created a body of work using letterpress and Riso printing.

Wanting to make Risograph more accessible in Perth, she created The Print Deli as a place for artists, small businesses and curious beginners to print, learn and connect. Through hands-on workshops, she hopes to share this unique process and give people space to explore ideas, learn new skills and experiment creatively, without judgement.

The studio prints with a refurbished RISO MF9450U and four ink colours: Fluro Pink, Medium Blue, Yellow and Black.

The Risograph is a stencil-based process that produces bold colour, tactile texture and subtle variations between prints. Inks can be layered to create new shades, with small shifts in registration giving Riso its distinctive finish.
